Jiri Eye Disease Incidence Study
Jiri, Dolakha (2025–2028):
Jiri Eye Disease Incidence Study (JEDIS) is a study that has been undertaken among the Jirel population to study the pattern of eye diseases in this community. This study will be the first eye study in Nepal to follow up on a group of participants over a period of 10 years. The finding from the research study will enhance the future planning of eye services for the community and thereby help in the prevention of blindness among the Jirel population.
